We’ve updated our intro video with new footage of the renovated lodge. It also includes information about BWR Exotics. Check it out here, and let us know what you think! We’re already booking hunts for later this year, so please feel free to contact us at email@example.com if you’d like more information.
It’s been cold here . . . as it has been everywhere. On February 11, 2014, the temperature never made it above freezing. I don’t mind the cold and keep thinking that, just maybe, it’s preventing bug larvae from developing . . . one can dream, right?
We hope you are all staying warm and getting ready for the spring. We love springtime around BWR – that means it’s shed hunting time!
Until then, ice does makes for some neat photos:

Feb 8, 2014: Ice sheets falling from the roof
Yesterday morning, my 15 year old God daughter dropped her first buck [a 142 pounder, 109 6/8" gross score] in his tracks at 80 yards in 16 degree weather. Congratulations & LYB!
Congrats on your first buck!
Before the Christmas holiday, a father and son came out to hunt . . . the son recently started bow hunting, and he’s off to a great start! He harvested his first trophy whitetail on day one, then a huge ram the second . . . congratulations on a job well done!
His first trophy whitetail buck with a bow at 35 yards!
Dall Ram harvested at 52 yards with a bow.
SILVER, 125 6/8″
It’s been busy around BWR, and this past weekend was no different. We had six hunters at our exotics ranch and with a lot of hard work and a little luck, six animals were harvested in one day. Congratulations to both our hunters and guides!
1 SILVER Axis + 1 BRONZE Blackbuck + 1 SILVER Blackbuck + 1 BRONZE Blackbuck + 1 GOLD Fallow + 1 SILVER Fallow = one great day at BWR Exotics!

I was at our exotics ranch yesterday and (whoa!) the fallow are in full rut! These two fought for 20 minutes, off and on. I could hear others fighting, but couldn’t see them. I kept sending Jerry text messages saying that I needed to shoot one, out of fear for my safety (hehe); he stopped responding . . .
It’s a brawl!
